[Bloodline]

pretty good

You need sound effects. When a person sees a fight, they want to hear some hard hits. Without those sound effects, it puts a damper on the experience. Also, Mario needs a better reason to kill his family and friends than Bowser simply threatening his life. Other than that, it's good.

You improved quite a bit. My only real beef is the old nes graphics. You should do a revamp on your third one. Or if that isn't your final one, at least do it for that. Mario World graphics, Allstars, or even better, Mario & Luigi Superstar saga and Partners in Time sprites. I guess Super Mario Bros. Z spoiled me.

Wha?

This represents everything that shouldn't be done in a mario parody. I still chuckle at the Mario bloopers if they're good, but this was crap. The music got very annoying after a while. One shouldn't have to put in a button to turn off the music. The graphics were piss poor. You could see that pipe was attached to nothing near the end. Sound effects were lacking. Worst of all, it wasn't funny in the least.

nice

I liked it. The action was better. The battle was better paced. I also liked the Linkin Park and Evanescence songs in there. The story portion is a lot better in this one. Focus on a good story and make the action faster paced. Maybe modify the sprites and effects a bit to make it more unique. Just my two cents. Overall good job.

you improved

You improved quite a bit. However, that fight scene with Shadow and Zero was boring. It was slow. It seemed like it'd take forever for one of them to do something and when they did, it was the same repetitive moves again. Like Zero hitting Shadow with the saber 800 times while Shadow lies there in that one animation. But I do give you props for improving.

Meh...

Well, the hits kept on going and going and go... you get the picture. Hitting them over and over with the same animation going for the same characters gets boring fast. Also, Ryu's sprite was way too jumpy. Though I'm glad he's in there.

Too much like DBZ

Every hit sent someone flying against the wall. That should be saved for the special attacks. Regular old punches and kicks should be comboed or something. It got better after Thochan powered up or whatever, but it was still lacking. Less DBZ and better fighting. Maybe some modified sprites would work too.

Seriously good stuff. I usually don't find scat jokes funny but this was done in a pretty funny way. I'll never forget Richter's bowel problems now whenever I play the game.
